'Pokémon Sun & Moon" Features, Gameplay & Consoles: Nintendo Switch Version, First Home Console In 20 years

"Pokémon Sun & Moon" is being made ready for its big launch into the Nintendo Switch Version in 2017. On the pipeline for its release is in North America and Japan or it could be in Europe, wherever will come first on the list. With Game Freak, the main creator of the Pokémon game series, the target date is being locked for the many fans who are expectantly waiting to play the game.

According to Eurogamer, the Switch version of "Pokémon Sun and Moon" has been revealed in a teaser of the game last February. No less than Junichi Masuda and Shigeru Ohmori who are developing the game who provided the art and model game concepts for the HD and the Switch models. It is worth mentioning that the Sun and Moon series will be joined next year by the Star version.

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" is the second repeat of the game that is slated to be launched in 2017 but this time around it will be on the Switch console. According to Polygon, the CEO of the Pokémon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara has confirmed the Nintendo Switch technology that will be incorporated into the game. However, this conversion will have to involve some changes on the game from just being portable to the switch home console.

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" will have to require larger screens and higher specifications for the Nintendo Switch conversion. Hence, the designing and handling of the game will be much different. More likely, just like other Pokémon titles it could resemble the offshoot of Gamecube, Wii and WiiU for the console. For more updates of the game, fans may stay tuned in to Gamenguide.
