Sony's PS4 Reigns Supreme; Outperformed Microsoft's Xbox One & Nintendo's Wii U In February Sales; Will Sony Beat Nintendo Switch?

Sony's popular console, PS4 is obviously attracting more and more buyers as the unit sales are consistently increasing in the month of February. Now reports are claiming that the PS4 is officially the top selling console for February 2017, outperforming Microsoft's Xbox console.

 A lot of gamers were able to acquire one of the best package deals of PS4 in February when Sony declared a price drop including some of the famous games, "Uncharted 4" and "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare". The consistent high sales in PS4 is certainly a great success for the company, and is now enjoying the top spot.

According to Game Rant, both the Xbox and Nintendo's Wii U have been left behind by Sony, however, there is no specific figures have been published to denote exactly how many Sony systems were sold last month to give it the edge against its competition. Moreover, Microsoft did not divulge the figures which makes it more difficult to determine the difference in the sales.

Aside from Sony giving out more package bundles to buyers, there are more reasons why Sony has been victorious. One is the availability of games in the platform. Games such as "Nioh" and "Horizon: Zero Dawn" are well-received by a lot of gamers, and are currently available in PS4 platform.

However, the competition is not yet over as Sony will have to face Microsoft and Nintendo for a new competition for the month of March. According to TechnoBuffalo, the Nintendo Switch is reported to be the strongest and most successful gaming console for several years, launched at GameStop.
