"NieR: Automata" has been finally released on Steam last March 17 following weeks of speculations. Now, an official release date for Asia has also been revealed through the Twitter account of the Japanese Nier PR.
"NieR: Automata" PC Version Is Coming To Asia Next Month
"NieR: Automata" is finally coming to Asia for the PC owners after months of waiting. Prior to this, some gamers have found the delay as very unprofessional on the part of the developers, given that the PC market in Japan is believed to be not as profitable as in the West.
Regardless, "NieR: Automata" can now be legally purchased at all digital stores in April. Meantime, the game is now playable on PS4 and in some areas on Steam, Gamer Malaya reported.
"NieR: Automata Director Shares Thoughts On The Video Game
For "NieR: Automata" director Taro Yoko, the game is far from being perfect. However, he is proud of everything that it offers.
"NieR: Automata's" development had forced Yoko to remain in Osaka for a time, where Platinum Games is located, and be away from his family. He also admitted that while he reigns over as the director, the young staff had developed the game in its entirety.
The action sequences in "NieR: Automata" are very sophisticated, given that Platinum Games is the developer for the latest installment. But as revealed by the game director, the company also kept the elements from the past title, including the distinct changes in gameplay. According to Yoko, this became possible due to the fact that the people over at Platinum liked and even respected the past title, Forbes reported.
"Nier: Automata" is available now for PC and PS4, featuring post-apocalyptic RPG. Developed by Platinum Games, the game is the sequel of the same title released in 2010. It is also a spinoff of "Drakengard" back in 2003. Watch "NieR: Automata" Gameplay Trailer 2017 (PS4 / PC) here:
