In Dying Light 2, players need to survive a post-apocalyptic world by defending themselves from the Infected that scattered all over the city of Old Villedor while defending themselves from hostile human Survivors like the Bandits.
To prepare themselves for these threats, they need to have their weapons in their inventory, such as melee weapons (knives, axes, hammers, and swords) and ranged weapons (bows and guns).
However, having these items in the game has one caveat - they can't use them permanently.
This is because of their Durability mechanic, where it decreases as they are used for a long period. If a weapon has low Durability, they can either sell or discard them.

However, some mods can solve this after putting them in the Grip Socket. They can either be obtained in the game or after downloading their files on Nexus Mods, a community-created mods website.
How to Get these Mods
One of the mods that players can have in Dying Light 2 is the Korek Charm. This mod, according to PC Gamer, can add +500 Durability to any weapon. They can also add and remove it as many times as they want.
To get the blueprint for the mod, according to Gamerant, they need to travel to the VNC Tower, the tallest building in Garrison. The better time to go to the landmark was during the "Broadcast" Story Mission.
Once they are inside the building, they need to either take the elevator on the first floor or use their grappling hook to get themselves on VNC Tower's roof.
From the top of the roof, they should face southwest before gliding to the roof of a building with the tall white antenna on it. From there, find a generator with the word "socket" written on it.
They will interact with the generator to grab the cable and then fall off the plank on the east side of the building until they drop into the first open window.
Then, they need to drop again to the next window below the first one until they are in a red-lit generator room.
This will attach the cable to the generator, and then they will traverse to the opposite side of the room to find a green-lit generator. They will grab the cable. Then they need to exit through the window to the right.
Then, they will drop themselves down two more times until they find another red-lit generator. Much like earlier, after plugging the cable, they will run towards the other side of the room to find another green-lit generator.
They will take the cable, then they need to head outside and to the left to find a wooden plank overhanging the edge. They will drop down, then turn towards the same building where you came to find another plank.
Then, they need to drop to the ground below, head towards the north, and enter the building on their left. As they enter the room, they will see another generator to plug in the cable.
After plugging in all cables, they need to interact with the defense system panel to their right.
Then, they need to open the double doors to their right to make themselves run down the short corridor to a room at the end.
From there, they will see a coffee table that has square-shaped cushions around it.
Then, they will start sitting on these cushions in this order - start with the yellow one next to a red lantern, then make their way counterclockwise while not missing the tiny cushion in front of the TV.
The last cushions that they should sit on are the ones that are close to the door where they entered. They will stay there for 30 seconds until the blueprint for the Korek Charm appears on the coffee table.
Suppose they do not want the tedious process of obtaining a mod that can prolong the "durability." In that case, there is the Durability 4x that, according to WCCFTech, can reduce weapon degradation by four times.
The Unlimited Weapon Durability mod can make any weapon unbreakable even if used for a long time.
Both of these weapon mods are available for download at Nexus Mods. To download them, according to What If Gaming, they need to click the Manual Download button that is under the Main Files.
This will eventually download a .zip file. After downloading it, extract the file to obtain the data2.pak file, and paste it into the disk with the game's folder in it.
