'Dying Light 2' Radio Transmission Tower Guide: Where to Locate Them

In Dying Light 2, players need to survive a post-apocalyptic world by defending themselves from the Infected that scattered all over the city of Old Villedor while protecting themselves from hostile human Survivors like the Bandits.

As they venture into the Old Villedor, they will encounter structures that help their in-game progression and impact their choices that might affect the outcome of the game's story.

One of the structures is the Radio Transmission Towers that are scattered around the city.

These towers can reveal the location of the Inhibitors on their in-game map once they are activated. They are also essential in several of Dying Light 2's main story quests.

Where to Find the Radio Towers

Players need to find and activate five Radio Transmission Towers in Old Villedor.

To have access to one of them, according to Gamepur, they need to clear the "Broadcast" main story quest first, where they need to activate a radio tower on top of the VNC building in Garrison.

Once they clear the main story quest, they will be rewarded with a Grappling Hook, an essential item that they can use to climb on buildings, swing from one platform to another, or escape from combat. Then, they will have free time to look for the five towers.

The first radio tower they have to visit is the Historical Communications Tower in the Downtown area. It is located near the northwest portion of the region.

To reach it, according to PC Invasion, they need to look for a pulley lift first that will take them to the veranda. From there, they will see a wooden ramp that they can use to jump and glide using a paraglider.

They will let the gust of air glide them to the other building where a Military Airdrop is located. From there, they will glide again to reach the rooftop with radars installed.

The second radio tower in the game is the Newfound Land Military Relay located in the southernmost part of the Newfound Lost Lands along the western coast.

To access it, they need to glide themselves in the air to reach a set of metal walkways. Once they reach a higher jump-off point, they will glide again until they reach the radio transmission tower.

The North Loop Radio Tower's third radio tower is located near the Metro Station in The Wharf south of Marsh End Lane. They can access it while taking the "Nightrunners" main story quest.

Once they are in the area, they will climb the tower using the Grappling Hook until they reach a spinning platform. They will continue doing this until they reach the radio tower.

The fourth radio tower they have to access is the South Loop Radio Tower located in the Lower Dam Ayre area. They will be able to move the tower past the building with a Military Airdrop.

They can either climb the tower using the Grappling Hook or glide from the Military Airdrop to set foot on the platform.

The fifth and final radio tower that they have to find in Dying Light 2 is the Saint Joseph Medical Radio Relay that is located on the border between Trinity and Houndfield.

To get on top of the tower, according to IGN, they head towards the trading post that is right next to the hospital. From there, they will see a watchtower right beside the trading post.

They will climb the watchtower to jump to the hospital roof. Once they are on the roof, they will run towards the right side of the building to onto a platform.

Then, they will turn around and jump onto the next beam that is right across them. They will jump again on another section of the building until landing a path leading towards another set of beams.

They will climb up using the beams until they see a roof that they can jump on from the left side with a Military Airdrop.

When they finally reach the top, they need to use the grappling hook to jump to the next platform. Once they land on the platform, they need to follow the path until they reach the radio tower.

Once they are on one of these radio towers, they will climb to the top of it using the platforms and metal bars which requires a lot of stamina. Upon reaching the top, they are now able to activate the Radio Transmission Tower.
