GameRant reports that the new rumored skin is the battle-damaged Iron Man suit from Endgame. That's the very suit tony Stark wore when he snapped his fingers and dusted Thanos' army for good, with the iconic words repeated one last time: "I am Iron Man."

Now, one may say that the actual suit used in Avengers: Endgame, the Mark 85, is already in Marvel's Avengers. But it's not the battle-damaged version, and that's why we're here. The rumor comes from a post by Redditor Slightstardust on the subreddit PlayAvengers, which showcases Tony Stark's battle-damaged Mark 85 complete with the Infinity Stones on the right hand.

Here's the Reddit post:

Obviously, the biggest caveat is that this is only cosmetic. You won't get the power of the Stones when you get this skin, because by then Marvel's Avengers wouldn't be too fun with Iron Man becoming immensely OP. But while some folks seemed thrilled about this leak, a few others wished that developer Crystal Dynamics would also go back to making comic-accurate skins for the Avengers title.

One Redditor who commented on the post also somehow wished that, if the battle-damaged Avengers Endgame armor for Iron Man is real, then should also have the power of the Infinity Stones at their disposal. If their wishes come true, then the entire game would be even more of a cakewalk as Tony Stark could simply use the stones and vanquish every opponent the Avengers faced.

Either way, this rumor is still neither confirmed nor denied by Crystal Dynamics yet. But if it does come out, then it will join a veritable crop of other MCU-inspired skins in Marvel's Avengers: almost all of which are a massive hit to fans. For now, people will have to play the waiting game and see whether the rumored skin will end up in the in-game marketplace.

The Best MCU-Inspired Skins In Marvel's Avengers - And A Few That NEEDS To Be Added

Over the years since the Avengers game was released by Crystal Dynamics, there's been a lot of MCU-inspired skins that fans demanded - and actually got. And this is understandable considering how the movie universe is one of the world's foremost pop culture phenomena.

It depends on the fans which skins they think are the best ones from the MCU lineup. But a few are definitive favorites, like Captain America's Avengers Endgame suit. As per ScreenRant, its popularity stems from its great combination of comic accuracy and utility - it looks superhero-like, but also like something a real super soldier would wear in combat.

Another fan-favorite is the Civil War Black Panther skin, which gave a new level of excitement to the release of the War For Wakanda expansion. Then, Crystal dynamics also added the white snow/stealth suit for Black Widow, which she wore in the latter part of her standalone MCU flick.

But a few other skins are still not in the game yet, some of them being skins that fans have requested for a while. As per CBR, among the other MCU skins that must be added to Marvel's Avengers include the "Night Monkey" suit from Spider-Man: Far From Home, Iron Man's Mark V armor from Iron Man 2, and Thor's Sakarian Gladiator armor from Thor: Ragnarok, to name a few. Now those would be a doozy.
