#SteamSpotlight Death's Door Lets You Become a Crow That Has to Track Down a Thief That Stole a Soul

#SteamSpotlight Features Action-Adventure RPG Death's Door

One of the best things about video games is that they have opened up countless worlds that once only existed in the minds of those who made these games. We've seen games that dive deep into the future and even games that explore worlds that don't exist in reality.

But have you seen a game that features a crow that pretty much works as a grim reaper? If we may add, said crow has to chase down a thief who stole a soul from it.

Have we gotten your attention? Then let us tell you more about today's #SteamSpotlight feature, Death's Door.

Developed by Acid Nerve and published by Devolver Digital, Death's Door was released on July 20, 2021. We weren't kidding when you said that the game features a crow as its main character and guess what? You get to be the crow.

According to the official website of Devolver Digital, the crow's main job is to reap souls of the dead. Things get interesting when a soul assigned to the crow is stolen. Your task, quite simply, is to chase after the thief so you can retrieve the soul.

That, however, is easier said than done because you'll eventually find yourself in "a realm untouched by death - where creatures grow far past their expiry and overflow with greed and power."

You can watch the reveal trailer of Death's Door below:

Crow vs Beasts and Demigods

As a crow chasing a thief into a world untouched by death, you're going to come across colossal tyrants, beasts, and demigods. They all have stories and motivations of their down, but that doesn't change the fact that you're going to have to take down enemies.

So how exact do this when you're a small crow going toe-to-toe against enemies so much bigger than you are? You get to use melee weapons as well as arrows to take down your enemies. You also have the ability to use magic to defeat them.
