Published by Finji, Chicory: A Colorful Tale was released on June 11, 2021. Its official website describes the game as "a painting adventure." You play the role of an anthropomorphic dog you can name after your favorite food. No, we're not kidding. If you don't want to pick a favorite food, the dog will automatically be called Pizza.

The game is set in a world called Picnic and your character works as a janitor for an artist named Chicory, who is also the wielder of the Brush. The Brush plays a big role in this game as it is the one that creates color in the world.

One day, Chicory suddenly goes missing and your character to fill in for the artist. What you have to do is to simply add color to Picnic, help animal friends along the way, and even solve puzzles.

As you go along, you can collect clothes, furniture, and even plants so that you can customize your character to your liking. You will also encounter more than 100 animal characters throughout your journey.

Chicory: A Colorful Tale even lets you play with friends via local co-op, which means you can enjoy coloring the suddenly black-and-white world of Picnic with other people.
