The eagerly anticipated Valorant patch 7.10 has just landed, ushering in a wave of changes and enhancements following the debut of Iso in Episode 7 Act 3. 

In this easy-to-follow guide, we will break down the critical updates, focusing on the revamped Deadlock, subtle adjustments to Jett, Reyna, and Fade, as well as some performance improvements and bug fixes.

Valorant Patch 7.10 introduces game-changing buffs to Deadlock

Deadlock Unleashed!

The spotlight in this patch is undoubtedly on Deadlock, the Sentinel who has been labeled the "worst agent in the game" by the community (via Dexerto). Well, Riot Games responded to the player outcry with substantial buffs, making Deadlock a force to be reckoned with. 

GravNet (C) now demands a manual removal by those ensnared, offering a unique power dynamic. The debuff, characterized by increased gravity and reduced mobility, persists until the victim removes it.

The removal time has been extended to 1.5s, and the radius has expanded from 6m to 8m. This makes it harder for agile agents like Jett and Raze to escape its clutches, providing Deadlock with a more reliable execution of her abilities.

Quick Tip: Winning players say to put her traps in strategic locations, such as contested corners, or apply pressure to draw people toward them.

Jett's Blade Storm 

Patch 7.10 brings a quality-of-life adjustment to Jett's third-person animations while wielding Blade Storm (X). 

The changes aim to enhance combat clarity, making it easier for both players and observers to decipher Jett's movements, whether she's dashing around or hurling deadly knives.

Quick Tip: Popular opinion says focus on information gathering and map control so that they can fight for key areas such as mid. Once you have site control, try to survive as long as possible so that your team can get set up for post-plant.

Team Deathmatch Dynamics

Team Deathmatch has become a battleground of its own, prompting specific tweaks to Reyna and Fade to balance the playing field.

Reyna's Leer (C) cooldown has been increased from 44s to 51s, and her Empress (X) will charge 14% slower. These changes encourage strategic orb prioritization, injecting more downtime between Reyna's power-packed moments. 

For Fade, improvements focus on easing the utilization of her abilities in Team Deathmatch. Prowler (C) cooldown has been reduced from 44s to 36s, while Seize (Q) cooldown decreases from 51s to 48s. 

These adjustments aim to amplify Fade's ability to track and engage enemies, making her a more formidable presence in the fast-paced environment of Team Deathmatch.

Performance Enhancements and Bug Fixes

Beyond agent adjustments, Valorant patch 7.10 introduces some performance updates, including adding presets to the stats page. 

The bug fixes address issues such as unreliable reverb application to certain sounds, Viper's Pit (X) not correctly blocking vision on the minimap and megamap, and Fade's Prowler (C) passing through certain objects. 

Additionally, the report button text for the Arabic language in the Player Report menu has been fixed.
