Diablo IV Season 3 is just a week away and it is going to bring a lot of new content and quality-of-life features that a lot of players will surely love.

New Questline

Season 3, aka Season of the Construct, will have players go deep beneath the sands of Kehjistan and into the Loom, where they will defeat the Demon Malphas, the final boss of this new questline.

Players can venture deep by first going to the new town center called Gatehall, which serves as their base of operations. From there, players can enter the deadly Vaults filled with enemies called "Constructs" that are brought to life by Malphas himself.

Together with Zoltun Kulle's former companion, Ayuzhan, players must brave through the Vaults and stop Malphas before he takes over Sanctuary!

Trusty Companion

New Companion: The Seneschal

To entice players to complete the new seasonal questline, Blizzard will reward brave adventurers with a new companion called the Seneschal. This companion was created using the power of the Loom and it can aid players in their fight against Malphas' forces.

Using Governing Stones and Tuning Stones, players can tweak how the Seneschal performs. Governing Stones give the new companion special abilities, which are then augmented by the Tuning Stones.

Reconstruct, for example, is a Governing Stone that instructs the Seneschal companion to heal its master by channeling a reconstruction beam. The beam heals a portion of the player's maximum life over time, which is useful when taking on the harder content Season of the Construct has to offer.

Burning Support is one of the Tuning Stones that can be used on the Seneschal. This empowers one of the companion's skills to apply burning damage over time to enemies. Additionally, burning enemies take increased critical strike damage from the Seneschal construct.

Enter the Vaults

After finishing the main questline, players can get busy by entering the new specialized dungeons known as the "Vaults." These dungeons contain "Constructs" that used to keep the forces of evil at bay, but have now been altered by Malphas to do his bidding.

What's interesting about these new dungeons is that you enter with a blessing called Zoltun's Warding. Whenever you fall prey to the traps that are laid out in the dungeon, the blessing diminishes in strength, which will then have an impact on the rewards that you get in the end.

Speaking of which, if you manage to defeat the Vault Boss with Zoltun's Warding at full strength, you will unlock a Wardwoven Chest that gives a higher chance of granting you some Legendary Items.

Quality of Life

The company is set to implement a number of quality-of-life features as well. Diablo IV players on PC will be able to move their characters by using the WASD keys on their keyboards.

Aside from that, players can get an extra stash space by interacting with their Stash in any of the capital cities in the game. Fortunately, players do not have to spend real-life money in order to get one.

Diablo IV Season of the Construct is expected to go live on January 23 at 1 p.m. EST.
