The remastering combines both previous Metro titles into one package with an HD upgrade on current generation consoles. The PlayStation 4 version boasts 1080p while the Xbox One will sit at 900p (both run at 60fps), and the title is also coming to PC.

The full Metro Redux bundle including both games is priced at $49.99, but you also have the option to purchase each game separately if you choose. Metro Last Light and Metro 2033 will cost you $24.99 individually as digital downloads.

The enhancements are not just graphical upgrades according to the developers, but tweaks and additions to the gameplay as well. 4A Games says the remakes will include "advanced enemy AI, improved combat and stealth mechanics, superior weapon handling and more responsive, intuitive controls". It will also include "signature features from Last Light" in both titles, such as the 'mask wipe' mechanic, weapon customization, and silent kills and takedowns.

The DLC Season Pass is also included in Redux, adding what the team says is 10 more hours of content. New "Play Styles" are also included, allowing you to play the campaigns in either a more survival-based, slower approach or action-heavy style. The upgraded graphics look great so far--keep an eye out for more as the newly-announced release date approaches.
