In Most Excellent News, Bill and Ted Return

There's some totally excellent news for fans of awesome, campy 80s science fiction. Brace yourself because William S. Preston Esq and Theodore Logan are returning in March of 2015 for a short run in comics. Bill and Ted's Most Triumphant Return #1 hits shelves in spring of the New Year and will continue their epic adventure.

Jem Makes a Bold Return in an All New Comic series

Bill and Ted made their debut in 1989 in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, which was follwed by '91's Bogus Journey. The premise of the first movie was simple; two not so bright teenagers with hearts of gold travel back in time to abduct historical figures in order to pass history. A classic tale, except for the part where they will one day be saviors of the world with their band, Wyld Stallyns. That's a bit atypical.

The new comic series will follow the next steps in their journey after the end of the second movie. At the end of Bogus Journey they finally learned how to play and had managed to defeat Death, so it seems only natural that they would party on and go save the world from itself. In this book their nemesis is Chuck De Nomolos who hates the message of the band. The boys turn their energies in teaching him the ways of being non-heinous and how to be excellent to everyone.
