Hearthstone iPhone Version Has Arrived On The App Store At Last!

It Was Good Knowing You, But Hearthstone Has Arrived On iPhone

Ladies and gentlemen, it has been an honor and a privilege writing articles for you these past few months. I hope you have enjoyed them. Alas, I must go: Hearthstone on my iPhone (HearthPhone, if you will) is calling, and I must answer.

BlizzCon 2015 Tickets On Sale This Week

After an admittedly disappointing last Thursday, in which I incorrectly surmised that Blizzard's amazing card game would be coming to iPhone, there is no denying it this time: Hearthstone is here. Say goodbye to your loved ones, and make your way over to the App Store and be prepared to furiously update it like some sort of possessed mad man.

Players will need at least an iPhone 4 or later to play the game. The board has been shrunken down (there's now less space between opponents) but the mechanics and layout remain mostly the same. Computer or iPad will still be your de facto way to play the game; however, neither of those devices fit in your pocket.

And if there is some sort of off-line mode, those subway rides have gotten so much more enjoyable already.

Additionally, logging in to Hearthstone for iPhone for the first time will net you a free pack of cards that will, ultimately, be useless against this week's particular meta-game. But it sure beats having to try and win coins and cards the old fashioned way

Be patient. The App store will get its act together and soon you'll be playing Hearthstone morning, noon and night wherever you go.

Again, it was nice knowing you all. See you in the Tavern. I'll be in the back.
