LG already has the Stylus 2 in the market but folks over in Taiwan will be in for a treat with the official coming of the LG Stylus 2 Plus.

LG’s alternative and more powerful phablet variant could have quietly made the Taiwan scene though it did get some rumblings thanks mainly to a TENAA certification.

Either way, its official debut offers the Taiwanese market a model with slightly better specs than the LG Stylus 2 which is already out in other markets. For the ones unfamiliar with the LG Stylus 2, this devices comes with the base specs that include:

  • 5.7-inch HD display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad core chipset
  • 3 GB of RAM
  • 32 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 2 TB)
  • Dual-SIM capable
  • 13 MP main camera
  • 8 MP front-facing camera
  • 3,000 mAh removable battery
  • Comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with customized UX UI

The LG Stylus 2 Plus ups those specs a bit with its own set of features. Among the specs that are different from the ones listed above for the LG Stylus 2 include the processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa core) clocked at 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and a 16 MP main camera.

The dimensions of the LG Stylus 2 Plus measures about 155 x 79.6 x 7.4 mm and something that weighs approximately 146 grams. Connectivity options include Cat.4 LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.

As far as pricing is concerned, the LG Stylus 2 Plus will cost approximately $340 based on currency exchange rates and is set to be at local stores by late June. LG's phablet could be an interesting alternative for folks who are in search of an affordable Android-powered phablet in the market.

While Taiwan folks are lucky enough to get the chance to check it out and possibly buy one, there is no word yet if the LG 2 Stylus Plus will be made available in the global market.
