“Gran Turismo Sport” is still a long way off from being available but a couple of features may have already been crossed out per creator Kazunori Yamauchi.
The first one has to do with the iteration of the dynamic weather in “Gran Turismo Sport,” which according to Yamauchi was meant to raise the framerate and quality of the vehicle images during races via GT Planet.
“We opted to not have the transitions in the race this time in order to raise the framerate and the quality of the image *during* the race. So the user will be able to set that before they enter the race. So you’ll still be able to have night races, morning, races at dawn, dusk, and so on.”
Taking this feature away from “Gran Turismo Sport” may become a disappointment considering these are conditions that actually become factors in actual motor sports. Despite that, it looks like the game developers want to deliver ‘unprecedented precision’ as far as the featured cars that will be seen in the game.
Players will get to four sets of cars which include 137 models combined. The type of cars on “Gran Turismo Sport” will be composed of super-premium real world vehicles and fantasy cars. As for other game features, there will be 19 tracks included, dirt tracks and 27 possible layouts for players to try out.
No offline career mode
Another bummer for the folks eager to play “Gran Turismo Sport” is that offline career mode may not be available. If so, this means that “Gran Turismo Sport” players will have to make do with other game modes.
That includes “Beginner’s School” which features driving lessons, a “Circuit Experience” to help players familiarize themselves with the tracks, “Mission Challenge” which calls for players to meet specific goals and “Racing Etiquette” for players to learn more about teachings of sportsmanship.
With several months more to go, more updates tied up to “Gran Turismo Sport” are expected to come in the following months.
