'Overwatch' Competitive Mode Allows For One Of Each Character Only; Blizzard Introduces Ana

Last April, Blizzard Entertainment announced the arrival of "Overwatch" Competitive Mode, which enables skilled players to rank up throughout challenger, advanced, expert, master, and heroic tiers, comprised of five divisions each.

More recently, the developers behind the popular game have decided to prevent gamers from using m multiple instances of heroes in the same team. The limitation is currently being implemented in the Public Test Realm, and will be soon implemented in the main game patch in a matter of time.

According to Gamespot, gamers need not be worried, because the Blizzard developers are reassuring fans that the one-hero limit will not affect Quick Play. In addition, the developers are also planning to remove Sudden Death in Season 2 and instead, enable the end of a match without a win or loss. The goal was to not make gamers feel like they just wasted time playing.

Fans will also be glad to know that Blizzard developers are also making changes to D.Va and Zenyatta's defense armors. While the patches have not been written yet, fans can be assured that they are already working on it.

Meanwhile, in other "Overwatch" news, fans can now get to know the newest character for "Overwatch," Ana. Players who use Windows PC can sign up for the Public Test Region, in which patches are tested before being released for the main game. Players who participate in the Public Test Region can already play as Ana, who Polygon reports is a support-class sniper who has the ability to give health to her teammates. Check out the video below to get to know Ana.

"Overwatch" was released for Microsoft PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One back in May. It was first introduced during the BlizzCon in 2014, and is directed by Jeffrey Kaplan, Chris Metzen, and Aaron Keller. For more information on the Public Test Region, visit playoverwatch.com.
