‘Fallout 4’ Latest News & Updates: Update Version 1.6 Finally Out For Game Consoles

“Fallout 4” had a patch earlier this month in the Update Version 1.6 though it covered on PC users. Game consoles were wondering when they would get theirs and all that was answered just recently.

Update version 1.6 finally made its way to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 game consoles which should even the playing field playing “Fallout 4” across different platforms.

'Fallout 4' features

With “Fallout 4” update version 1.6 finally out for game consoles, such means that players will get to works. That includes over 300 new names in the robot “Codsworth” vocabulary (i.e. Ares, Bort, Cena, Morty, Phasma etc.). Aside from that, the new patch will offer support for future DLCs.

Other perks include the new ExitSave feature and of course the most important ones for “Fallout 4” gamers – bug fives and performance improvements per Neurogadget.

The Fixes of update version 1.6

“Fallout 4” has a lot of issues that need to be addressed. Among them include players becoming permanently invisible, disappearing saves and the inability of gamers to assign Dead settlers to the supply lines.

As far as improvements to “Fallout 4” is concerned, game crashes that occur when targeting an enemy weapon has been fixed and the instances where a Companion ends up being stuck in the wall in VATS has also been addressed per Game Spot.

Up ahead for “Fallout 4” gamers is the “Vault-Tec Workshop” DLC which is due to be out on July 26. The expansion will be priced at around $4.99 though it can be availed through the game's season pass.

More to that, there is also another DLC set for August. This is the final “Nuka-World” DLC which should add more things to look forward to.

These new developments follow a previous report tied up with the “Fallout 4” “Far Harbor” DLC. A bit of controversy shrouded that report with a modder named Guillaume Veer noticing similarities to his “Fallout: New Vegas” mod named “Autumn Leaves”. If you failed to catch that, you can do so here.
