In fact, Damon Lindelof admitted that he did a little research about the films of Australia in the 1970s, particularly, Peter Weir's "Picnic At Hanging Rock" and "The Last Wave." If truth be told, these films help the screenwriter to develop "The Leftovers" Season 3 episodes. "The gravity of the story was sort of pulling us here," he said.
New Character in Store for 'The Leftovers' Season 3
Meanwhile, Katia Herbers is set to appear in "The Leftovers" Season 3, although his character is not yet revealed, according to Deadline.
