Katie Holmes admits that her work does not take up all her time, so she still has time to be in her kitchen in New York City. She must be good in her cooking as she rates herself a solid 7 in terms of skill level. Perhaps that is the reason why Quaker got her to be the official endorser of their brand? The single mom, after her divorce with Tom Cruise in 2012, admits that she likes making a hearty breakfast for daughter Suri before she takes off for school.

What about dinner? Katie Holmes likes to make pasta and lasagna which are her and Suri's favorites. The 37 year old actress says she is a fan of Mario Batali and she usually follows his recipes. Holmes did not mention her daughter Suri being a picky eater but the two seems to like munching nachos while watching TV.

Katie Holmes will portray the role of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in the "The Kennedys: After Camelot" mini-series. Interestingly, Holmes revealed her political party on the upcoming presidential election. The "Touched With Fire" actress aid that she will vote for someone who is qualified and has always worked for the children. Holmes exposes daughter Suri to politics even at an early age by watching the debates together.
