'Pokemon GO' Release Date, News & Update: Niantic Makes Catching Rare Pokemon Fun Again

Back in July, Niantic's "Pokemon GO" launched to worldwide success, making it a craze that literally took the world by storm. Three months following its initial release, the game is being made available in several Middle Eastern and European countries. Now that a lot of people all over the world are getting the hang of it, Niantic continues to improve the game through various updates.

The latest news coming from Niantic is that a new update is going to make dipping one's toes into "Pokemon GO" a lot easier. The update was announced yesterday via Niantic's blog, which claims that beginners who are looking to train in a friendly gym can now bring six Pokemon along with them, contrary to the previous one Pokemon limitation.

According to CNET, the update will also adjust the CP or combat power of the Pokemon at the friendly gym to match the player's level so that battles would turn out more fairly. New "Pokemon GO" updates don't stop there, as IGN reports that a newer update will also make catching rare Pokemon fun again.

As per Niantic, they will be releasing an update that makes catching rare Pokemon easier than before. The update will include a new feature that gives "Pokemon GO" players more advantage in catching rare Pokemon if their performance is consistent. The medals will be awarded to players who catch set numbers of specific types of Pokemon. Once a player receives the award, he or she will find that it will be easier to catch Pokemon of that certain type.

Niantic explained that a "Pokemon GO" player will receive a bonus or reward, which is the average of one's bonuses for each type, regardless if a Pokemon has several types. As of now, there's no word yet on when this exciting new update would roll out, but fans are already excited to see how this will affect gameplay.
