Some reports have surfaced that there are characters from the "Breaking Bad" series, like Gus Fring, that will also make their way in the upcoming crime drama.
"Better Call Saul" Season 3 is reported to take off from Chuck (Michael McKean) who betrayed his brother Jimmy McGill (Bob Odendirk). Rumors say that this act of betrayal will push the lawyer to be transformed into Saul Goodman.
Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) is one of the characters from "Breaking Bad" that is most talked about to appear in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. However, Bryan Cranston, during his "A Life In Parts" book tour, said that he is not referring to the former's appearance in the upcoming TV series when he said that there's a recognizable character showing up.
But, there are several reports that Gus Fring's character will be a crucial character in the storyline of "Better Call Saul" Season 3. In fact, he seems to be the key to bringing Saul Goodman up, making Jimmy McGill into a famous drug trader.
Though significant, Gus Fring's character will not appear in the first episodes of "Better Call Saul" Season 3 according to some reports. Perhaps, the first few episodes will highlight how Jimmy McGill processes his mental condition.
According to a report by GamenGuide, Bob Odendirk has revealed that Jimmy McGill may not be able to tell the difference between good and evil in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. The angels and demons are constantly berating his mind that he thinks he is doing the right thing when in fact he is doing the opposite.
