‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Update: PokeAlert Comes Back From Ashes To Aid Distressed Gamers

After FastPokeMap, another third-party app may be returning to the scene. PokeAlert is reportedly up and working again though it may be the case for select regions where “Pokemon Go” players are at.

PokeAlert is another one of those trusty map scanners that Niantic has frowned upon, a program that comes complete with a GPS-style of mapping. When used, it gives “Pokemon Go” players a better view of where the critters are at and effectively direct them towards the location of the elusive critters.

“Pokemon Go” players are however also reminded that PokeAlert could spell trouble as well. Niantic has been quiet but has employed game bans on erring players using third-party apps so using them will be at the risk of players.

Then again, the people behind PokeAlert may have followed the lead of other third-party apps in working their way around the Niantic ring, a loophole that could make the game easier to play than how it is right now. The word out is that PokeAlert is using a web-based service to aid “Pokemon Go” players with no other striking features included, Pokemon Go Hub reported. Like FastPokeMap, PokeAlert promises to return soon.

For the ones who used to rely on PokeAlert or are planning to do so, you can try it out now. The program was designed for “Pokemon Go” users playing the game on Android and majority of players claim that the app is up and working once more.

In a way, the return of PokeAlert can give some disappointed players a big sigh of relief. Tracking the “Pokemon Go” monsters has been a nightmare as of late with Niantic yet to deliver a suitable tracker by default.

Major changes could be coming with the next version of “Pokemon Go” as previously reported. The downside is that there is no official word on when Niantic plans to release it, forcing most to either quit or cheat their way through the game.
