‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Updates: Niantic’ Questionable Tactics May Push AR Game To Oblivion

“Pokemon Go” is still a well-known game as it continues to ride the waves of its success since debuting in July 2016. The game still leaves a lot to be desired and Niantic has been trying to address that with the insertion of new features.

There is the Buddy system, the color-coding eggs and more which have been added to “Pokemon Go” recently though more are expected with the next version. One key improvement ranted by players is an improved tracking system which has hardly been a factor.

Niantic has emphasized it preaches fair-play but all that is rendered useless if they do not improve on the base game of “Pokemon Go” itself. Third party apps have tried to aid though they are categorically considered forms of cheating mentioned in another post.

Rather than focus on bans, Niantic will have to find a way to improve the game on its own to justify their game bans on map scanning apps. But other than that, there are more issues that the “Pokemon Go” game developer would need to address.

Game play is one obvious thing. “Pokemon Go” players can do a lot of things aside from pocket monster hunting. They can try to conquer gyms, engage in battles and breed their own through egg-hatching. But for those who have been hooked on "Pokemon Go", all these have become recurring.

No one has spotted the “Pokemon Go” rares or legendaries but this may not be the main gist of keeping the game up in the ranks. Quests have been mentioned as possibly coming but there is still no certainty on that as mentioned in a previous post.

The state of “Pokemon Go” is not that different from other mobile games or even game consoles who overlook the essence of keeping gamers hooked. Niantic is likely aware that at some point, their brainchild will nose-dive. But the fact that "Pokemon Go" is something that racked in big revenue, the best they can do is try to improve on it for as long as they can.

“Pokemon Go” will eventually plummet but until that time comes, Niantic can still improve on it, Neurogadget reported. Adding special activities and sensible features are the way to go and hopefully this is something that can be seen in the near future.
