Vampyr – Video Game Latest News & Updates: At Last, An Interesting Game About Vampires

From the makers of "Remember Me" and "Life is Strange" Dontnod Entertainment has announced an action Role Playing Game (RPG) about vampires titled "Vampyr".The game is based on the 1918 London Spanish flu pandemic, which resulted in one of the world's deadliest human disasters that cost 50-100 million lives (at the time three to five percent of the world's population).

As for the gameplay of "Vampyr," the player takes control of Jonathan Reid a newly initiated vampire, who views being a vampire (Vampirism) as a disease that can be cured. While searching for the origins of the disease, he must remain alive by feeding on London's remaining citizens. To simply put it, the more he kills the stronger he gets. The only question is, how far is he willing to go?

Going further, "Vampyr" takes place in a semi-open setting allowing players to roam the streets and apartments of London in search for your next target. As the vampire doctor, your goal is to improve your combat skills, charm, and level up your character to progress through the game. Players are also allowed to create weapons, which will give them a whole lot of ways to kill or defend you against attackers

However, given the fact that it is a game about vampires, the game will have a dark and gritty atmosphere as "Vampyr" is taking all the characteristics such as the dislike for light, the sneaky movements and so on. All of which are similar to a depiction of what a vampire should be.

"Vampyr" was first announced in 2015 with its teaser trailer coming out in 2016. The new game about vampires has hearts racing through its concept teaser, interesting storyline and captivating plot. The game is scheduled for release on the following patforms PC, Playstation 4 and X box One in 2017
