Many fans are looking forward to the reboot of the new "Power Rangers." A lot of information has already been revealed for the upcoming film via posters and also a trailer. Yet, more photos have been unveiled which showcases Repulsa and Alpha 5' new look.
New images have emerged from one of the iconic characters of the "Power Rangers," Alpha 5. The robotic character has always been known to be the assistant of Zordon and the members of the Power Rangers. Based on the reports of IGN, the design of Alpha 5 features a contemporary look and its body parts are also more organic. His body still contains the red and blue color, but they are featured in a darker palette.
Aside from the screenshots of Alpha 5, a fresh batch of photos of Rita Repulsa was also uploaded recently on the official Facebook page of "Power Rangers." The image emphasizes on the costume of the main antagonist, and it can also be seen that her weapon of choice, a staff, is beautifully designed.
The actor assigned to give voice to Alpha 5 is Bill Hader, and he has also been known to work as a vocal consultant for BB-8 in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Hader has been famous for his comedic roles in movies and the television series, "Saturday Night Live." Meanwhile, Elizabeth Banks will play the iconic villain, Rita Repulsa in the reboot of "Power Rangers."
The members of the Power Rangers will be played by Dacre Montgomery, Becky G, Ludi Lin, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler. As for the character Zordon, Bryan Cranston was casted for the role. In addition, the film is directed by Dean Isrealite.
The film will mainly focus on the introduction of the five main characters who resides in a town called Angel Grove. Moreover, it will present how they were able to acquire their powers in order to protect the world from alien threats. "Power Rangers" is slated to be released in cinemas on March 24, 2017.
