'Paul Walker' Latest News & Updates: Fans, ‘Fast 8’ Cast Honor Late Actor’s During His Death Anniversary

When news of actor Paul Walker's death broke out, "The Fast and the Furious" fans were devastated. Paul Walker was best known as Brian O'Conner in the movie series "The Fast and the Furious" and he was not playing a minor role. In fact, he is one of the mainstays in the movie.

So, you can imagine how the fans, and even the cast and crew of the movie reacted to the news of his death. Three years ago, on Nov. 30, Paul Walker was killed in a car accident and his co-stars from "The Fast and the Furious" paid tribute to him on his death anniversary. Vin Diesel, who thought of Paul as his brother, honored his death by changing his cover photo with images of him and Paul. Jordana Brewster, who played Mia Toretto, Brian's (Paul Walker) on-screen partner in the movie tweeted, "I miss you and I love you every single day #paulwalkerforever," along with a photo of her and Paul at a movie premiere. Ludacris, also a member of the gang in "The Fast and the Furious" franchise as Tej posted a photo of Paul Walker with an in-photo text of "Always in our hearts," on his Instagram with a caption that says, "Gone but never forgotten. #love."

Another heartwarming tribute to Paul Walker is a video from Tyrese Gibson. Tyrese Gibson, who played Roman Pearce in the "The Fast and the Furious" franchise, shared a video of him with Paul Walker, whom he referred to as his "favorite white man." "This week is always rough for those of us who really knew him personally. Paul treated everyone with the upmost respect and went out of his way to make everyone feel like they mattered... I love and miss you dearly," is what the heartwarming and sob-inducing post of his co-star says.

Paul Walker founded an organization known as "Reach out Worldwide" or ROWW, a non-profit network of first-aid and EMT-trained professionals that responds to any natural disaster. To honor their founder's death, the organization has named Paul's brothers Cody and Caleb Walker as grand marshals of the 64th Annual Downtown Santa Barbara Holiday Parade. The parade will begin at 6:30 in the evening, on Friday, December 2 at Sola and State streets to Cota.
