It was already reported that M. Night Shyamalan, director and producer, and Chad Hodge, the show's creator are on talks with Fox Channel.

"Wayward Pines" had some issues concerning on their ratings. On its first airing, the television series got 3.8 million viewers but it dropped to 2.4 million on its second season. However, reports suggest that viewers could rise up to 3.5 million if DVR numbers are considered.
