According to Android Police, Facebook has already rolled out the new feature of its messenger. It is a native camera that is similar to Snapchat but easier to access.

The new Facebook messenger camera offers several features. It allows users to decorate their pictures with frames, stickers, 3D masks, and special effects. It also allows users to add art and stickers to their texts.

According to Bustle, users can tap the blue circle in the center of the home screen bottom or tap the camera icon after starting a conversation with someone to take a photo or video. To take a photo, the shutter button at the bottom must be snapped. To take a video, it should be long-pressed.

Users can also send the photos and videos with text, doodles, stickers, frames and animated effects. They can tap the smiley face icon to add stickers, frames, and filters. To add a text to the photo or video, tap the "Aa" icon or palette icon in the bottom right corner of the app. The new Facebook messenger camera also suggests artistic versions of the text and decorations like speech bubbles that can be added to it. To draw directly on the picture, users can press the squiggly line found in the top right corner of the app.

Tribune has added that the new Snapchat-like camera allows users to share filter-enhanced photos. It features graphic filters with Facebook AI-powered Style Transfer. It offers a set of special effects to make the photo look like Prisma-styled art. The new Facebook messenger camera is now available for android and iOS users.
