Marc Anthony, Shannon De Lima Split Confirmed; Singer-Songwriter Runs Back To Ex Jennifer Lopez?

Marc Anthony and Shannon De Lima have officially announced that they have ended their relationship. Now speculations are making rounds that the singer-songwriter is running back to his former flame, Jennifer Lopez.

Just last month speculations surfaced that the "Vivir Mi Vida" singer Marc Anthony has divorced his now ex wife, De Lima. Rumors say that the two had already separated early this year.

Now, Marc Anthony and De Lima have finally made an official announcement on Sunday, according to Us Weekly. In the statement, they said that the decision made was mutual. They were also asking for privacy regarding the issue.

To recall, Marc Anthony and his ex wife, De Lima, had dated in 2012. Their relationship was on and off.

In 2014 Marc Anthony and De Lima got engaged. This is the Latin pop singer's fourth marriage.

Marc Anthony and De Lima did not have children together. However, the 28-year-old Venezuelan model has a son from her previous relationship.

The two did not further detail the reason why they called off their relationship. However, a source has told Us Weekly that Marc Anthony and De Lima's relationship was merely "not working." "They didn't have enough in common," explained the source.

Before Marc Anthony dated his now ex wife, De Lima, he was married to Jennifer Lopez. Lopez and the "Vivir Mi Vida" singer were married for seven years.

Lopez and Marc Anthony called it quits in 2011 for various reasons. They have two children together. And in 2014 their divorce was made final.

Even so, Marc Anthony seems as though he is running back to his former flame, Lopez. The two Latin stars made headlines recently after they have shared a kiss on the stage at the Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas. Has the flame between the two has rekindled?
