HTC Latest News & Update: Three Flagship Phones Debuting In 2017, HTC Ocean Note Rounding Up First Quarter Storm

HTC will be releasing three new smartphones in 2017 and the belief is that one of them will be the HTC 11. Also known as the HTC Ocean, the said flagship could very well come out before the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona.

While that may be three months away, HTC could be releasing something earlier with the HTC X10. The word out is that the X10 could be out as early as Jan. 12, 2017 which will pick up from where the HTC X9 left off.

There are no official specs for now on what the HTC X10 may have to offer though it will be expected to be more powerful. Among the potential specs of the HTC X10 include a 5.5-inch full HD display, running on an Helio P10 SoC, 3 GB of RAM and sporting a 13 MP main camera, the Android Soul reported. The device could retail for about $287.

While that could very well happen in January, the attention shifts to the HTC X11 two months after. Among the possible specs of the X11 include a 5.5-inch quad HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, a 12 MP main camera, and an 8 MP front-facing shooter. It will be powered by a 3,700 mAh battery, Phone Arena reported.

As for the third device in the HTC Mix, it could be a phablet called the HTC Ocean Note, Android Headlines reported. Obviously, this will be a larger rendition of the HTC X11 though such needs further confirmation.More updates are expected in the coming weeks with 2017 promising to deliver another big batch of tempting mobile phones to consider.

With the speculated lineup of HTC handsets for 2017, the company hopes to impress and make their handsets stand out. HTC has its work cut out for them as they try to improve its smartphone sales and catchup with the mobile phone market leaders.
