Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes News - Spoilers Result from Broken Release Date, First Score Drops, and PSN Purchases on PS3 Get Peace Walker

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes Gets Impressive Scores, Producer Asks Gamers with Early Access Not to Spoil Game

Good news and some bad news today for the first portion of Metal Gear Solid V, Ground Zeroes. First, the good.

The scores from weekly Japanes mag Famitsu are out, and Ground Zeroes is among the games rated, and if you give any credit to the Famitsu team, the game's off to a great start. While most have been griping about the game's short length, Famitsu reviewers didn't seem to have much of a problem with it. Four reviewers scored it with two tens and two nines, giving Ground Zeroes an outstanding 38 out of a possible "perfect" score of 40.

Now, with the game out next week, I'm sure some of you are still figuring out how you'll be getting the game. Good news for digital junkies, as it's been revealed by the PS Blog that those who pre-order the game through the PlayStation Network will get a free download of the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD. Important for as the game will help set the scene for Ground Zeroes, with the events of Peace Walker taking place the year before Ground Zeroes. It's worth a play if you feel the need to catch up a bit.

Now, the bad news.

Despite the posted release date, gamers in the United Arab Emirates have already managed to get their hands on Ground Zeroes, and some have taken to sharing certain elements via Twitter, Facebook, and the like.

The game's producer, Ken-ichiro Imaizumi, has since issued a request for the gamers with early access to do their part and not post any spoilers. He wrote via Twitter, "Dear Sir/Madam, I know some people has already got GZ. Just enjoy but DO NOT spoil. There're many fans are waiting for this for long time."

While some will be respectful, I'm sure spoilers will still surface regardless, so be careful with what you read about on the game in the next few days. We'll take heed to warn you on any spoiler-iffic info in the time being.
