The Dark Link Armor set in “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” is one of the best armor offered in the game, particularly at night. It doesn’t only bring back nostalgic feels for fans of Zelda games but also give an extra boost as players get extra speed during night time. Finding this specific armor set is not really easy to do so this guide will make it a bit easier.

How to Get the Dark Link Armor Set

The only way to get the armor set from the Ocarina of Time is to unlock Kilton. This NPC is a vendor that only comes up when the player finishes specific events in the game. So to do this, players need to go to East Akkala Stable and find the minor quest, “A Shady Customer”. Gamerant reports this quest requires the player to take a photo of Kilton which can be done when the player goes to Skill Lake. In the left of the lake, there should be a land mass and Kilton will be there. Talk to him to start a sequence where he explains his business.

Buying the Dark Link Armor Set from Kilton

The next step that players of “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” needs to do is to talk again to Kilton. He can be found just outside the villages at night and unlike the other sellers, he only accepts a special kind of currency according to VG247. The only way to get this currency called Mon is to defeat monsters and take the parts that they drop. Trade them to Kilton for Mons.

The Dark Link Armor Set costs 2,000 Mon for the hood, 1,000 Mon for the Tunic, and 1,000 Mon for the Trousers. So the player needs 4,000 Mon in total to get the complete set. Each monster part gives approximately 4 Mon so it will take a while to complete it.
