‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ News & Update: Titan Books To Release Novel Series Bridging Gap Between ME3 And Andromeda

Titan Books will be releasing a brand new series of "Mass Effect" novels, which will bridge the gap between the "Mass Effect 3" and the upcoming "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Like the "Halo" novels, Titan Books hopes to connect the missing pieces in the games through the novel series.

'Mass Effect: Andromeda Initiation'

According to Eurogamer, the "Mass Effect" series will be getting four new spin-off novels, which will fill in the holes in the storyline between the first game and the fourth installment due in the first quarter of 2017.

Publisher Titan Books explained that the novels will serve as prequel and sequel to the events of the games. More so, the novels will be part of the overarching "Mass Effect" saga. The novels will answer many questions that have plagued many of its fans.

Sci-fi author N.K. Jemisin penned the first book titled "Mass Effect: Andromeda Initiation."

The acclaimed sci-fi author was nominated for both a Hugo Award and a Nebula Award for her debut novel "The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms." Later on, it was turned into the "Inheritance Trilogy."

"Mass Effect" Saga

Gamerant added that the first title of "Mass Effect" novel series will be released this August as a paperback. The second title will be released in March 2017.

Meanwhile, the third entry of "Mass Effect" will be released in September 2017 and the last one is set for March 2018.

While the first title will be penned by the acclaimed sci-fi author Jemisin, Titan Books hasn't announced authors and titles for the second and third entries.

Meanwhile, the fourth title will be written by "Mass Effect" creative director Mac Walters. Walters revealed recently that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" game will move away from Paragon and Renegade system.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is slated to release in March 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Check out the gameplay trailer released at E3.
