'For Honor' Release Date, Latest News & Update: Closed Alpha Ends Tomorrow; Character Details Unveiled

Ubisoft's "For Honor" is gearing up to be one exciting hack and slash video game, which unfortunately isn't arriving until February next year. The closed alpha ends tomorrow and some lucky souls who participated in it already have opinions about the upcoming game.

Gamers took to Reddit to talk about "For Honor" and how it's shaping up to be an exciting game. The closed alpha ends tomorrow and it has received mixed reviews on the Reddit thread. Some general comments about the upcoming Ubisoft game is that it is "a really smooth experience" and that the game has a "solid baseline" in terms of the mechanics of the game.

The main concern for those who participated in the closed alpha of "For Honor" is that the game remains p2p or peer-to-peer once it is launched in February. Other concerns involved the revenge meter, which reportedly only significantly increases if the player is being attacked by more than one person. If not, the revenge meter will go down really quickly.

The "For Honor" closed alpha ends tomorrow and according to Forbes, it will close on September 18, Sunday at 5 p.m. PST. The closed alpha lets gamers play with three of the four PvP modes, namely Duel, which is a one on one match, Brawl, which is a doubles match, and Dominion, which pits four players against four opponents. Gamers who are looking to play alone need not worry however, as the game will have a single-player campaign once it launches in February next year.

We recently reported on the three class types that gamers will get to know in Ubisoft's "For Honor," namely the Samurai, Viking, and Knight. We've also discussed the game modes here. The closed alpha ends tomorrow, but gamers who were able to participate in it experienced unlocking new abilities, equipment, and cosmetic options, according to Games Radar.

According to Gamespot, gamers who participate in the closed alpha were able to access the Kensei (Samurai), Orochi, Warden, and Raider characters previously announced. The Conqueror and Berserker will be available once "For Honor" launches on February 14 next year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
