Note that the game may be played anywhere with an Internet connection since the game has been launched on the hybrid console for this purpose.

Nintendo is currently testing out the upcoming online shooter "Splatoon 2." It has been revealed that after 60 minutes of squid killing and ink splatting, the app is said to use 153MB data in one hour, Venture Beat reported. Moreover, the game has been noted to work very well over a smartphone connection. Furthermore, the app does not have any noticeable lagging or rubber-banding.

It has been revealed that "Splatoon 2" was deemed for varying internet speeds. Moreover, while a low ping is necessary to compete in "Counter-Strike" and "Overwatch," a high ping may not be too crucial in "Splatoon 2." Note that the goal of the game is to cover the map with ink which is not threatened by the connection. Apparently, the resolution drops when the system is in handheld mode to accommodate more demanding segments of play.
