‘PAYDAY 2’ Is Free To Play Until April 12; The Search For Kento Event Begins
"PAYDAY 2" will be free to play until April 12, allowing the players to put on the masks of the first "PAYDAY" crew once again as they descend on Washington DC for another epic crime spree in this four-player co-op shooter. This was recently announced by Overkill Software.
"PAYDAY 2" Free-To-Play Event Will Let Players Enjoy The Game's Key Features
In "PAYDAY 2," up to four friends will be allowed to co-operate on the hits, while the crew progresses and the jobs become bigger and more rewarding. Aside from acquiring more money and becoming a legendary criminal, there will also be a new character customization and crafting system that allows crews to build and customize their own guns and gear. Meanwhile, those interested may now download the game from Steam.
"PAYDAY 2" comes with some key features that include robbing banks to get paid. The players are required to pick their crew since they will need the right combination of skills on their side when the job goes down. There is also the CRIMENET, in which the contact database allows the players to choose from the available jobs by connecting with some local contacts like Vlad the Ukrainian with their own agenda in mind, DSO Gaming reported.
"PAYDAY 2's" The Search For Kento Event Begins
The "PAYDAY 2" free-to-play period that runs until April 12 is set to run alongside the event called The Search For Kento. According to reports, the event centers on Jiro and his search for his son.
Incidentally, Overkill Software released in 2015 the Yakuza Character Pack that introduced the Japanese gangster Jiro. The said character pack release revealed the story of how Jiro came to America and fell to the PAYDAY gang after he was abandoned by his parents in Japan, later joining the Yakuza in his young age. Jiro eventually fell in love with his boss' daughter and had a son, Segment Next reported.
