Developer Naughty Dog deployed a new update for The Last of Us Part Part II Remastered that players should download right away. That is because Patch 1.1.0 brought free new skins for the main characters, Abby and Ellie.
Celebrate How It's Made
Patch 1.1.0 is quite special, especially to the company that is responsible for making a quality game in The Last of Us Part Part II Remastered, Naughty Dog. Aside from the free skins, this update brought Grounded II, which is a special video that showcases how the game was made and the things that led to its development.
For those who do not have a PlayStation 5, let alone a copy of The Last of Us Part Part II Remastered, the company has uploaded the video on YouTube for everyone to see. So do not worry, nobody is left behind.
Point of 'No Return'
One of the more interesting features of The Last of Us Part Part II Remastered is the new game mode called "No Return." As one can tell by the name, this game mode is not for the faint of heart as players who die at any point during the run will have to start everything all over again.
This is a game mode specifically made for those who think that they know everything about the remastered edition. No Return presents new challenges, new twists, and new modifiers that should keep players on their toes at all times.
Anyway, Patch 1.1.0 brought many gameplay improvements and fixes to No Return Mode. For one, the user interface received a number of tweaks to optimize the player's view.
In addition, the bug that caused the active mods on an encounter to not be displayed accurately on the Planning Board has now been resolved.
Here are the other notable changes:
"Mixed Bag" trophy now counts damage-over-time kills from molotovs
Fixed an issue where players could quit out during death in a No Return run without penalty
Fixed an issue where Joel and Tommy could become stun locked by repeated melee attacks
Fixed an issue in the Arcade Bloater boss level where Infected would not jump down from balcony
Fixed cases where Gambits would appear that are impossible to complete in certain encounters
Fixed issues in Garage Bloater boss level where player could become unreachable by Infected
Fixed an issue where Clicker kills were not counting toward Challenge goals
Fixed an issue where detailed statistics weren't displayed after a No Return encounter
Fixed issues related to the "Stealth Kills Boost Movement" speed modifier
Dropped bombs from enemies no longer negatively count towards player's accuracy statistics
Mirror gameplay modifiers can no longer be enabled in No Return
The Last of Us Part Part II Remastered Patch 1.1.0 is now available on the PlayStation 5.
