Halo The Master Chief Collection Update Is Out Now, Cross Your Fingers For Improvements To Matchmaking

Halo The Master Chief Collection Matchmaking Update Is Out Now, Cross Your Fingers For Noticeable Changes

Halo: The Master Chief Collection's newest patch has finally hit--you can now launch your game and download the latest update.

Xbox One Price Drop To $350 On January 16 Announced

The game still sorely needed this update, which aims to fix multiple matchmaking and party issues. Past patches have improved the experience, but have not solved some of the game's biggest problems in terms of search times and smooth joining and continuation.

If this update doesn't lead to a significantly better game, 343 is in trouble. The fan base has already let its displeasure be known, and the studio has lost a lot of support. If another comprehensive update fails to make a big impact and make the game more playable (my first-hand experience says this really, truly is necessary), they could be looking at a huge drop-off in remaining interest.
