'No Man's Sky' Cheats, Tips & Tricks: How to Make Make More Money, More Quickly [PART 1]

Hello Games' "No Man's Sky" is off to an amazing start with its launch last Tuesday.

Sean Murray took to Twitter to express how overwhelmed he and his team were upon seeing just how many people were filling up their servers and how many planets were discovered within one day of the release. While everyone is enjoying their discovery spree in the quintillion-planet universe of the game, some are wondering, how can we obtain more money (which in the game is called "units") as we go along planet-hopping? Here's how.

Of course, in the beginning, you're given the basic ship and a small backpack before you're thrown into the procedurally generated universe of "No Man's Sky." It's then up to you how you're going to spend your time and energy picking up resources and trading them off in order to "pimp your ship," so to speak. Although this may be a tedious process, the game will definitely challenge the player's ability to gather precious resources to trade them off for upgrades.

Polygon reports that maximizing the value of one's Bypass Chips is the way to easily earn a million units in a shorter period of time. Bypass Chips, for those who haven't played enough "No Man's Sky" to know, are items that can be crafted to use on signal scanners to determine what locations are points of interest.

It's basically a combination of 10 iron and 10 plutonium, both of which are commonly found within the game. Note that plutonium can also be used to fuel the ship's launch thrusters and the multitool. Stack up on iron and plutonium, create Bypass Chips, then sell them for units. You'll be on your way to earning your first million units just like Daniel Friedman over at Polygon.
