Like most games on pre-order, Microsoft is offering sweet freebies to gamers who pre-order “Gears of War 4”. All those will come in the “Brothers of the End Elite Gear Pack which will be offered before the game’s actual release later this year.
What are in the “Brothers of the End Elite Gear Pack?"
There will be three characters in the pack. “Marcus Fenix” (older version), “Dominic Santiago” (zombie version), and “Anya” will be the freebies gamers can expect to get.
Aside from the characters, there are the weapons to look forward to. The updated versions of the “Gold Wave” versions of the “Lancer” and “Gnashers” will be included. These weapons are the same ones offered to the most dedicated players of “Gears of War” day-one players.
The new freebies for pre-ordering “Gears of War 4” gamers append the previously announced. That includes the Vintage Del Pack and other retailer-specific bonuses.
Bonus for non-preordering players
The bonuses for pre-ordering people seem tempting but not everyone is likely to bite. Regardless, normal purchasing players can still look forward to something when the game officially launches.
Announced back in June, buying gamers can look forward to getting digital copies of the four previous installments of “Gears of War”. These are the same versions that originally came out for the Xbox 360 but can be played on the newer Xbox One, thanks once again to the backwards compatibility program.
“Gear Packs” are optional
As most games, “Gears of War 4” will come with the usual in-game purchases. They are known better as “Gear Packs” which can be bought through real time money.
For some, it could be a way to advanced better in the game but “The Coalition” explains that this will not be tied up with any pay-to-win situations. There are more to look forward to. One is special cosmetic items for beta testers who were able to reach level 20. The other is a “Gears of War 4” special edition that offers more items but at a higher price.
