The "Pokemon GO" developer confirmed that the game update has started and all the countries that have "Pokemon GO" will be updated with the 1.7.0 version on iOS devices and 0.37.0 version on Android devices. The update will bring more new features and it will also fix some issues in the game.
Niantic has also announced that the feature "Pokemon Buddy" will also be available in the update. The said feature will allow "Pokemon GO" players choose any of their Pokemons to be their buddy and it can collect candies by just walking in a certain distance.
According to a report from The BitBag, the latest "Pokemon GO" update will also make the Pokemon selection a lot easier. Some problem with animations will also be fixed, like the egg animations, because there are times that there are no animations that will appear after players reaches the said distance to hatch an egg.
Along with the update is another feature that will also support the new "Pokemon GO" Plus device, which is a wearable device that looks like a watch. Players can now enjoy playing "Pokemon GO" while they are moving and even without looking at their devices. The new "Pokemon GO" Plus device connects the players smartphones using Bluetooth. Players don't need to worry because it only consumes low battery energy. The device will notify the player if there is any Pokemon that is nearby by its LED and vibration.
According to the official "Pokemon GO" website, the Pokemon GO Plus device will vibrate and blink if ever the player is in the range of a Pokestop and players would just simply press the "Pokemon GO" Plus button to collect the items that is available in the Pokestop. Once there is a nearby Pokemon players can just easily press the "Pokemon GO" Plus button to throw a Pokeball. The device will vibrate and flash to notify the player if they successfully caught the Pokemon.
