Today, yes - today is the best opportunity to get a new and shiny Xbox One S because Microsoft promo offers bundled games for free.

It's not because Microsoft struggles with Xbox One S sales but take it as debt of gratitude that titles like "FIFA 17," "Halo" and "Madden" are now freebies for $300 bundle. After all, Xbox One S remains on top as the best-selling console for two consecutive months since July. This data was gathered from the US market by several gaming communities.

Remember that "today" best describes this Xbox One S promo because it will only run until 1st of October. Not only that Microsoft offers their Store for these freebies but other outlets as well like GameStop, Amazon and Target, according to Game Spot. However, those who were in preorders and trade-in deals cannot avail of this promo.

Now if the gamer decides to jump into this promo, remember "Forza Horizon 3." There are insufficient details yet if it is listed under giveaway options but it is safe to speculate because Microsoft clearly states "any" title is good to go. Another consideration is that "Forza Horizon 3" was released ahead of Xbox One S bundle promo.

Meanwhile, Games Radar thinks of "Halo 5: Guardians" because it is like hitting two birds with a stone due to tag along "Halo: The Master Chief Collection." Then there is "NFL 17" for lovers of football genre. So basically, it seems that choosing freebie is tougher decision than buying Xbox One S itself.

Now take a closer look at Xbox One S if free games don't appeal much. This console is one of the most compact in the market today. Comparably, Xbox One S is only about half the size of its predecessor but with added advantages. Think of built-in power supply, flexibility with Bluetooth capable controllers and foremost, HDR support.
