Zombie Team Up: 'Resident Evil 6' Playing Host to Valve's 'Left 4 Dead 2' Characters and Enemies

Capcom's really trying to get the dismally reviewed 'Resident Evil 6' back on the radar in a good way.

The company says, via Capcom Unity, that the PC version of the game is set to feature characters, weapons, and enemies from Valve's own zombie shooter, "Left 4 Dead."

It seems the collaboration came about when Capcom approached Valve about putting "RE6" out on Steam. The two teams started talking, one thing led to another, and the end result is what you'll be playing come April 5th. But there's a catch.

The addition that's sure to make fans gleefully pee themselves with delight is a PC exclusive, and only for the game's mercenary-esque "No Mercy mode." This is the only way you'll be able to have Ada go up against "L4D2's" witch, or Jake go toe to toe with a mini-tank. On the plus side, the price is especially agreeable, being that it's free.

Each "L4D2" character comes equipped with a specific loadout created just for the game mode.

The team up doesn't end there though. This Spring, "RE6" jump into "L4D2." As for getting the characters involved, Capcom is asking fans to download "L4D2" via Steam, then author their own versions of Leon, Chris, etc.

It's a nice sorta "I scratch your back, now lemme see what you can scratch" deal.
