Since the news of confirmation for the "One Punch Man" Season 2, many spoilers, details, and rumors have been surfacing online. One thing is for sure though, the second season will once again be packed with the trademark action and fun of "One Punch Man."
Love Triangle in the Works?
Rumors have it that Saitama will be falling in love in "One Punch Man" Season 2. The popular candidates for this love interest are the siblings Tatsumaki and Fubuki. There could even be a possible love triangle happening among the three.
However, as interesting as this love angle may be, this could also cause the downfall of Saitama in "One Punch Man" Season 2. Whoever the woman is, Saitama could be distracted from his real cause and ultimately give in to one of his enemies.
Saitama Versus Garou
There have also been rumors that Saitama is set to fight Garou in the pilot of "One Punch Man" Season 2. This is an interesting rumor for the fans, as both Saitama and Garou are humans that do not inherently possess magical powers, as opposed to the monsters in the first season.
According to some reports, this could then lead up to the Hero Hunter story arc in "One Punch Man." As Saitama had already been feeling somewhat bored as he is always winning every battle he has with only one punch, he wanted to face someone worth fighting. The second season of "One Punch Man" will see Garou having somewhat of a similar strength level as the antihero.
Saitama's Back Story and Expected Air Date
"One Punch Man" Season 2 will also be featuring the back story of how Saitama got his brute strength and powerful punch. He always attributes it to his exercise regimen, but there's actually a bit more behind it. It is said to have started when Saitama rescued a kid in the park attacked by a monster. This then motivated him to train and become a better fighter.
The release date of "One Punch Man" Season 2 is yet to be confirmed. However, fans are hoping that the anime would resume airing by early 2017.
