Exciting things will soon be added to "Overwatch" that includes a new Arcade mode and a new character Sombra. Blizzard also recently teased of the company's planned changes to the Play of the Game feature, as well as a potential new server browser.

"Overwatch" players were given a treat during the recently held Blizzcon given the interesting information that Blizzard unveiled. Gaming fans were excited to learn about the new Arcade mode that will soon introduce two types of arena-style modes to the game.

Several reports also highlighted the gaming company's new "Overwatch" character named Sombra. Described as a "powerful infiltrator," the female fighter has a unique set of abilities such as a short-term invisibility move and a hacking skill that temporarily turns off an enemy's abilities.

Blizzard has also unveiled two new maps namely "Oasis" and the arena map "Ecopoint: Antartica." Players can soon enjoy the game's new arena map and check-out Sombra's moves given its upcoming addition to the Public Test Realm.

Meanwhile, with the huge number of gamers playing "Overwatch," several fans have raised requests for a potential new server browser. Blizzard shared during the Blizzcon event that its developers are currently looking at adding a server browser, IGN reported. However, the gaming company did not disclose its deployment timelines for the said enhancement.

Apart from the planned server browser changes, Blizzard is also planning to revamp the game's Play of the Game feature. Game designer Geoff Goodman shared in an interview with Kotaku that they have lined up a special development project to highlight combo play in "Overwatch."

Labeled as Play of the Game 2.0, developers are still studying how they can successfully incorporate the planned changes to the base game. Goodman explained, "There's some tricky things there, like how do we handle Play of the Game intros, and how do we decide who gets credit."

"Overwatch" was released in May for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4. Learn about Blizzard's planned gaming league for the said game below:
