The "Sex and the City" TV series on HBO is a big success. With that, a movie version was born. In fact, not just one but two film adaptations were revealed. As eager fans still want to see more, will there be "Sex and the City 3?"
There have been a lot of rumors surrounding the making of "Sex and the City 3." However, although these hearsays emerge for quite awhile now, nothing has confirmed yet.
Since "Sex and the City 2" was released in 2010, fans are now asking for the movie's continuation with "Sex and the City 3." The stars of the film, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall have been continuously teasing that a new film is coming, but nothing has materialized until now.
To added fuel to the fire, in Sarah Jessica Parker's promotion of her new HBO series, "Divorce," she revealed that "Sex and the City 3" will surely come. "I will say that the idea, it rests in the butler's pantry. Not on the table, but somebody is holding it fairly nearby," she said in an interview with CBS' "Sunday Morning," per Vanity Fair.
Not only that, in another interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 51-year-old star she's "all on board" to make another sequel of "Hocus Pocus" and "Sex and the City 3." "I'm down for both! It would be amazing if we could do both in one year!" Sarah Jessica Parker said at the Fast Company Innovation Festival at the Skirball Center in New York City
To recall, the romantic comedy film showrunner Michael Patrick King said long ago that they already have an idea for "Sex and the City 3," although they don't have a script for it yet. Sarah Jessica Parker, on the other hand, cleared that she doesn't want to talk about it that much as she has no intention to give false hopes to their fans.
