'Stranger Things' Season 2 Air Date, spoilers, News & Update: Barb Not Coming Back? What We Know So Far!

"Stranger Things" Season 2 is expected to return and Eleven is confirmed to be a part of the show. The show is currently in production and is confirmed to have new characters added.

In a report from Mirror, the first trailer of "Stranger Things" Season 2 is out but does not reveal much about the plot. There will be more to be revealed in the coming months as the sir date for the series comes near.

It is also confirmed that new characters are coming for "Stranger Things" Season 2. Max who is played by Sadie Sink and Billy is portrayed by Dacre Montgomery. The new characters mentioned are siblings who both have different personalities.

There have been questions right after the first season if Eleven is coming back. Recently it just has been confirmed that she is indeed part of "Stranger Things" Season 2 according to a report in Melty. Additional casts joining the series are Sean Astin, Paul Reiser and Linnea Berthelsen.

Meanwhile, "Stranger Things" Season 2 picks a year after the first season's events concluded. It still has the same theme from the 1980's and the plot of this second season is not fully revealed as of yet. The original characters of the show are back in this upcoming season.

According to a report in Movie Pilot, Barb is not coming back, to "Stranger Things" Season 2. It can be recalled that she died in Season 1 and her death has been questionable. In the upcoming season, though she will not be back physically, her death will be answered as the story moves on.

Additionally, the new character Max is described to be a girl who acts like a boy and has a disturbing past. Her brother Billy is a violent stepbrother who drives a Camaro in "Stranger Things" Season 2.

"Stranger Things" Season 2 is currently in production and the series is set to air in 2017.
