'The Flash' Season 3 Episode 6 Spoilers, News & Updates: Who Is The God Of Speed?

Going into this week's latest episode of "The Flash" fans and viewers had this strange ominous feeling for the character Wally West. West keeps on having this dream about himself running through Central City as hero (Kid Flash), which was a reflection in some way of his role within the Flashpoint Paradox, Timeline.

How exactly did Wally West acquired his powers? It's all thanks to Dr. Alchemy being able to cause metahumans from the other timeline to dream about their Paradox versions, which leads to various problems to Barry and the gang as shown so far in the current season of "The Flash."

As we go further on the latest episode of "The Flash" we see Barry, Joe and Wally join forces in the hopes of finally catching Dr Alchemy. The villain offers Wally more power but to no avail. Barry tries to detain Dr. Alchemy. However, he fights back using the Philosopher's Stone, which shoots out powerful energy beams. Barry seems to be out of the fight until Joe shoots the stone out of Alchemy's hand, ending the fight.

The latest episode of "The Flash" also left fans in a cliffhanger, with Doctor Alchemy disappearing and eluding capture, Joe, Barry, with the rest of the of the SWAT team were taken out by a blue lightning streak. Apparently, that attack came from a being introducing himself as Savitar, "The God of Speed."

Savitar, as shown in th episode of "The Flash" is something that is very reminiscent of Megatron from "Transformers" with his metallic body and blue eyes. A depiction that seems to be very far from the comics.

Before his appearance on "The Flash," Savitar is a "dark master of the speed force." He was a military pilot but after something went wrong with the experiments aboard a supersonic plane, he became infused with the speed force. He believed it was a gift of divinity and thus named himself Savitar after the Hindu god of motion.

Episode 6 keeps hinting on the Flashpoint Paradox. It is an event shown in "The Flash" Season 2 when Barry Allen tried to save his mother Nora Allen, which greatly affected the timeline of the current universe.
