The previous episode of "Empire" showed a lot of big revelations and focus mainly on Cookie's (Taraji P. Henson) love life. In "Empire" Season 3 Episode 7 "What We May Be," Cookie will now realize how much she loves Angelo (Taye Diggs), but is it too late for them?

It has been known that Cookie broke up with Angelo as she's afraid that she may ruin his campaign as the city's mayor. However, it looks like the romance between the two will not end that easily. As the title pertains, "What We May Be," "Empire" Season 3 Episode 7 will see Cookie preparing something big for Angelo.

"Cookie looks to Candace for tips on how to plan an elaborate family dinner that will impress Angelo's mother, Diane -- guest star Phylicia Rashad," "Empire" Season 3 Episode 7 synopsis reads, per CarterMatt. Evidently, Cookie is trying to get Angelo's attention again by pampering his mom with a sumptuous feast.

However, it looks like something wants to pull her down once again as a lot of emotions will be back when she sees her father's home video in "Empire" Season 3 Episode 7. "Meanwhile, old home videos cause Cookie to face secrets about her relationship with her father that she had tried to hide from her kids," the synopsis continued.

Cookie is worried that her past might hurt Angelo but with all these things that are happening, she might be the one to get hurt. Blasting News reported that her deepest secrets are about to be revealed in "Empire" Season 3 Episode 7.
