‘The Bible’ News & Update: Miniseries Now On Netflix; Roma Downey, Mark Burnett Reveal Light TV Network!

"The Bible" miniseries has been first watched on History Channel and it is now making its way on Netflix. The television program based on the Bible was released in 2013 and had 10 episodes that lasted about 48 minutes.

According to Lewis Flyer, "The Bible" gives more intricate details before the time Mary and Joseph are introduced. The miniseries continues to tell the stories from the sacred text until the life of Saint John is revealed.

Although a lot of shows feature the stories of the Bible, "The Bible" miniseries is still powerful for letting its viewers think of its overall story. In fact, it quickly catches the audience's attention even if they are not that religious.

"The Bible" has an invaluable storyline, great actors and can be useful to everyone that has an interest in the biblical story. Meanwhile, as the miniseries is produced by the actress Roma Downey and her husband Mark Burnett, they are now set to launch a new family and faith TV network called Light TV.

The Light TV will be revealed next month and will be watched in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. It is created by Roma Downey and Mark Burnett LightWorkers Media, which is also responsible for "The Bible," in collaboration with MGM films and Fox. It is set to feature family-oriented show and faith-based movies and television series like "The Bible."

"This is the beginning of our new, multi-platform faith and family network, where the demand is greater than ever for family-friendly entertainment," Roma Downey said, per CBN. "As we have already seen from the success of 'The Bible' series and our 20 million social followers, this audience is looking for inspiring and uplifting programming that they can watch in a trusted and safe environment on any platform."
